POPE ANNOUNCES PLANS TO VISIT NEW YORK CITY

Catholic Pontiff Benedict XVI announced plans to visit New York City and seven other cities around the world in the beginning of April, preceding his celebration of Easter in Vatican City. The Pope's tour is intended to promote goodwill and to move forward some of his reforms within the Catholic Church "to meet the new tasks God has laid before us in this new millennium," according to Church officials. Among the Pope's decisions has been his pronouncement that novas are human beings capable of salvation through the Church's sacraments, and that they should be accorded equal treatment with baselines, in support of the United Nations' Zurich Accords.

Project Utopia made it clear that all efforts would be made to accommodate the Pope's tour and members of Team Tomorrow would help to ensure the Pope's safety.
